15 minutes of fame
Just a quick note: I'll be appearing on CBC Radio's In Town and Out tomorrow (Saturday) at 8:15 am, talking about Bike to Work Month with Giacomo Panico, who I'm happy to get to meet IRL (there are so many people I know from the online community that I haven't actually met in the real world.) I'll post the link here when the interview's online sometime tomorrow. For now, In Town and Out's page is here.

Very good interview. Particularly like how you discussed cycling and that it's not always about the "serious" or "sports" oriented cyclists. I was at a recent meeting headed by a "serious" cyclist, a tri-athlete who apparently didn't appreciate that there are large numbers of cyclist who are "practical" cyclist whose main mission is to get from A to B in a reasonable fashion on a bicycle. By using a bicycle they save money, don't burn fossil fuels and get exercise.
ReplyDeleteYou're doing a great job with your blog. Nice going!
